Littlest Leprechaun

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

Two of my three charming leprechauns were ready for the day.   I'm afraid they may be full of a few tricks....just like a real little leprechaun.   The look on Connor's face and those ears with the hat crack me up!!!!!!   HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

Daily walk

Tom wanted me to take some pictures on our walk today.  He is in love with the scenery!   It is lovely and we never tire of seeing the wonderful mountains and other desert wonders!

Waiting

Riley sits and waits for our company to come.  He doesn't realize that it is still over a week until his playmates join him.  I think he thinks if he waits long enough maybe even his girlfriend Abi will join him for a treat from the closet!  He loves to sit and watch over the condo in the seat shown or on top of all the pillows on the master bedroom bed.  This is his kingdom!

Fountain Hills Fountain

We watched the fountain turn green and then celebrated with corned beef and cabbage with friends from our complex.  A fun day!

Top Chef

You've got to love the look!  Lucas is all set to mix up some blueberry muffins.  Have you ever seen a chef this cute??  He's tops in my book!  Boy do I miss my boys!

ON ALERT!

Riley is on javelina watch!   He hasn't seen any this year but he patiently watches just in case!    Nothing too exciting has been spotted except one morning he did see a coyote walking down the road.......and there's always those pesty little bunnies that hop around right outside the window.    He loves to sit and watch all the local dogs get walked down the road and past our window.  This keeps him busy and off of our laps!   The only thing he loves more is his daily walk (weather permitting) in the winding neighborhood nearby or a walk by the fountain at the park where he sees tons of dogs enjoying the same outing.   He is living the "life of Riley" to be sure.  He loves AZ!!!

Beauty in AZ

I guess one of the great things about retirement is that we get to come to AZ to get out of the cold and snow. While here we enjoy a number of good friends and lots of beautiful sights as we explore the area. We didn't have to go far to enjoy this beautiful sunrise right off our patio. The weather is going to change a little bit but I guess one of the positive things about that is the sunrise we saw today. Now we need to spot the javelinas that seem to be going thru right by our place. We can see the footprints and droppings so we know they've been here.....and close. Maybe I can catch them going thru and get a picture! For now we'll enjoy the beauty of Fountain Hills.

Southwest or Bust!

We had a delicious meal at Erin's tonight. Lucas and Anne joined us. We had a great time watching the boys play and just visiting. Now we're all packed and ready to head out early in the morning. We should be in AZ on Tuesday sometime. Hoping for good weather and lots of patience for the long ride! I'll miss the kids....big and small....but look forward to lots of fun with AZ friends. Also look forward to Spring Break when all three boys will visit.
