The holiday was magic! All three boys made sure of that! We were at Erin's on Christmas Eve after a great church service and then we had Christmas dinner at our house. The boys seemed thrilled with the gifts that Santa brought and it was lots of fun to see the excitement of opening the family gifts on Christmas Day. We are truly blessed with wonderful children (all four) and beautiful grandsons.

Cookie baking fun

Today the Murphy/Landmeier crew gathered at Erin's and made Christmas cookies. All three boys loved the colored sugar and candy that went on the cookies, They played, decorated, baked and enjoyed the train around the tree. We had lunch together and then Lucas had to leave to go home and take his nap. It was a wonderful family morning! We need to make it a tradition!

Nana has discovered the secret to peace and harmony when the big boys spend the night........laptops! Both were happy as clams to be playing side by side ..........and there was no arguing or fighting!

At the daycare holiday party Lucas tried his hand at visiting Santa again. This time, with Mom by his side, he said hello, gave a high five and got a little prayer bear from Santa. Success......but we're not on his lap yet!!

Better late than never!

Just a couple Thanksgiving pix. The boys enjoyed eating with Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Dan. And the Landmeiers sit together for a family picture. Hard to round up the crew most of the time!

Lucas loves Xmas

Lucas went to a special night at daycare to make ornaments. He was very serious about the project! Then Mom and Dad took him to the mall to see Santa. Obviously he wasn't too impressed!! Let's hope he doesn't fear Santa coming to bring the gifts. :)

Connor and Cole's Birthday

The first week of November is exciting. Connor and Cole both have birthdays.....2 years and 2 days apart. They celebrated with friends and their first sleepover and then with the family. The picture is right before candles were blown out. Lucas has a new favorite thing.....cake! That word comes out plain and clear when he says it!

HALLOWEEN

Connor is an alien and Cole went with the Star Wars Warrior look. Lucas was a cute and cuddly elephant. The boys enjoyed a night of Trick or Treating and time with friends. Lucas had his first experience with Trick or Treating and loved it! He's now hooked on candy.

We'd planned a day with all three boys to enjoy the fall but poor little Lucas got sick and wasn't apple to go with us. Connor, Cole, Erin and I went to the pumpkin farm and had a fun morning. Next year maybe all three can enjoy the experience together. What a fun morning!

A day with Lucas

Lucas had a virus so I got to spend the day with him while he recovered. He had gotten quite familiar with Sesame Street and Builder Bob while sick and also enjoyed staying cozy in his Halloween Bones PJs. Such a cutie...and a good boy!

Our boy is getting big! Brian and Anne took him to the barber Brian has been going to forever. He looks pretty cute sitting there in his cape like a little man!

My How They've Grown

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Lucas started a new daycare this year and was all set and ready to go! He loves it and they love him!

Cole is now in first grade and has Connor's former first grade teacher. He was anxious to get started!

Connor is now in third grade and ready to take on all the new science and social studies topics that come with it.

They are all growing up way too quickly!

A TRIP TO THE SHEDD

Our last summer outing before school starts. We went to the Shedd Aquarium with Erin and the boys and had a fabulous day! We saw so many cool things! The 4D movie was fun as was the dophin show and walking thru the reefs. Can't wait until our next adventure!

A TRIP TO THE PARK

Erin and I took the 3 boys to the park and to see Great Gram. They had fun! Lucas wanted to be just like his big cousins!

We got to see the butterfly exhibit at the zoo. Even the boys thought it was great!
